Description
LAURA GORDON makes her MAINSTAGE directing debut in this Neil Simon classic with a twist. Following the success of the 1965 Broadway smash, THE ODD COUPLE, Neil Simon took the roles of Felix and Oscar (the neat, and the not-so-neat room-mates...following both of their divorces) and reversed the genders, coming up with yet another hit...the "female" version. This script, by Simon, is virtually the same, but the roles are reversed. "Felix & Oscar" become "Florence & Olive". There are some other interesting twists as well...but you'll need to purchase a ticket to find out about them...so come enjoy our second play of the season.
